Tom Plant has lived in Truth or Consequences for the past two years. Originally from the Boston area, he received his bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He had a 32-year career in the film and television industry, working in production budgeting and finance, including 15 years as a production executive at Home Box Office in Los Angeles and eight years as business manager for PBS’s long-running, Emmy Award-winning home renovation program “This Old House.” He received a master’s degree in government from Harvard University Extension School in 2014.
